European Project Manager
Christina is a marine biologist with expertise in ecotoxicology and ecosystem quality assessment, with over 30 years of professional experience and training in the field of environmental research and its application to support sustainable management as well as coordinating multitasks and international teams in complex projects interfacing scientific community and decision makers. She has extensive knowledge in project management, capacity building for complex science program development and implementation.
Christina is currently manager of the European Union and R&D department at Thetis spa, an Italian engineering consultancy. Her previous work includes research associate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, senior researcher and leader of the Ecotoxicology Division at the Institute of Marine Science of Italian National Research Council as well as adjunct professor at University of Venice.
